Predators had their way with Cougars 56-0

The Carolina Predators played the Carolina Cougars today and was able to completely dominate the entire game.  The Predators were able to push the Cougars around on both sides of the ball.  

The offense was led by by Wide Receivers Al Bryant and Jay Shelton.  Bryant had 4 receptions for 60 yards, 2 touchdowns and Shelton had 3 receptions for 91 yards for 2 touchdowns and a 2 point conversion.  Touchdowns were also scored, on offense, by rookies Deshun McClain and Lavonne Mann.  There were also flashes of great running by runningback Darien Dublin.  

The defense was lights out today.  Cornerback Antonio Mayes set the tone by taking an interception to the endzone for the score.  Predator's safety Dashawn Grayson also had an interception  in the contest.  Defensive End George Wilson was able to find the endzone on the scoop and score.  There were several hard hitting by LB Ralph "Hitstick" King.  The Predators defensive line was all over the Cougars offense all game long.  

The defense played a complete game are now focused on next week's contest against the Carolina Gators, which will effect playoff seeding.
