Carolina Predators hard fight in Morrisville, NC

The Carolina Predators went to Morrisville, NC to play the Iredell Warriors and fell short.   The Warriors topped the Predators,  6-0, in what turned out to be a defensive game.   The Warriors jumped out on the Predators with an interception, for touchdown,  thrown by QB Darius Thomas.  The Predators offense fought hard all night but could not seem to get in rhythm.

The game was kept in reach due to the play by the entire defense.  Captain, Ralph "Pac-Man" Scott led the defense with spectacular plays all night.  The entire secondary also did a whale of a job by not allowing the Warriors offense to complete a single pass the entire night.  The secondary was led by captains, Shawn Sanders and Antonio Mayes.  In addition to Sanders and Mayes, Martinez McCreary, Tyson Grayson, and DaShawn Grayson played a complete game the entire night.  Defensive Tackle Dareese McDowell, Kenneth Pitts, and John Guwap kept the pressure on the Warriors offense all night long and was able to keep linebackers Ralph Scott, Anjello Silva and Michael Cunningham free to roam all night The play of the game would have to go to Kenneth Pitts for his forced dimple and recovery late in the 4th quarter to give the Predators offense another opportunity to tie the game.  Though, the Predators fell short of that opportunity, Pitts dominating performance in the 2nd half sided in the dominance the defense had all evening.

The Predators prepare to re-focus and get back to Carolina Predators football.  Their next opponent, Carolina Eagles, will also be another big game.  This will be a rematch of the 2018 CEFA League Championship game.  This game will be Saturday June 29th at Kannapolis Middle School in Kannapolis, NC.  This will be a 6:30PM kickoff.

Come out and support your Carolina Predators football team as they continue their hunt.
